StoryLine / Review Of Gulabo Sitabo

The movie begins with the fight between landlord and Renter, here the character of Mirza Chunna Nawab Landlord played by Amitabh Bachchan who is an old man irritated by his renters for not giving his rent for living there.

So there are many families live there and the rent for the house is 30-40 Rs. but they always make excuses forgiven the rent.

And there is another family of Baankey Rastogi, the character played by Ayushman Khurrana, his family is living there for like 70 years and there rent is 30 Rupees and even they are not paying the rent.

Whenever Mirza Chunna asks for rent they just make some lame excuses so daily there is a fight between them about this rent matter because he is the owner of that mansion.

It is more like they want to capturing their property as every time when he ask their renters that he is going to increase the rent because the rent they are giving now is very low. But they all denied giving rent in the increased rates.

And Mirza wants to sell the mansion but the owner of the villa is with his wife Fatima Begum. And she is also fed up with Mirza’s greed to sell it. And Mirza is waiting for his wife to die so that all the property will be under his control.

Seeing this Mirza’s Wife Fatima Begum ran to his ex-lover Abdul Rahman and both Mirza Chunna and Baankey Rastogi have nothing left there to do.
